FAQS

  • Yes, there will be different levels including 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 and an Open Division where the best amateur teams will compete for $25,000 to the winners, the largest amateur prize ever at a pickleball tournament.

We are hoping to accommodate 14 teams in each division. There will be Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles. There will be no singles TKO in 2025.

There will be an “All Age” division which can be played by all ages as well as a 40+ division where both players must be at least 40 years old in 2025.

Both age groups will be available across the 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 levels.

There will also be an “Open Division” that is open to all ages, all pairings. It is ageless and genderless. This division will be limited to the first 64 teams to sign up. The Kitchen reserves the right to extend this division if the demand warrants expansion.

The Open Division will be held on that Saturday. The final 8 teams to make it through their round robin play will be invited to compete for the $25K prize the following day at a different location.

  • All divisions (with the exception of OPEN) will be completed on the day it is played.

  • Side-out scoring. 1st round is a round robin with 7 teams per pool. Each match is 1 game to 15, win by 1, with no third game tiebreaker. Each team is guaranteed 5 games to 15.

If teams are tied with wins, the tie-breaker rules are as follows:

    - Head-to-head will be first tie-breaker

    - Point differential will be second tie-breaker

In the 3 pool brackets we are taking top 4 so it will be winner of each pool and the #2 team with the most wins. If a tie there will go to point differential.

In the OPEN DIVISION, the tournament will be played to the quarterfinals on Saturday, and then the quarterfinals through finals will take place on Sunday!

  • Open Division winners will receive $25,000 AND an automatic open draw entry AND an apparel sponsorship from Wringer Wear! 💰 👕

Every division winner will also receive a commemorative JOOLA paddle.

  • Yes. You may play in gender and mixed. But if you are playing in the Open Division, you are limited to that division only.
